Required
- Grain Type: select grain type from the pull-down menu
- Weight: enter the amount and then select the measure (default is pounds)
- Measure: select measure from the pull-down menu
- Actual Moisture %: enter the measured moisture of your grain
Optional
- Target Moisture %: the calculator will use the nominal or usual target moisture percentage for the selected grain if you leave this field blank. However, you CAN insert a different value here.
- Handling Loss %: If you would like to factor in a handling loss in addition to moisture shrink, you can enter it here. The default value is 0.
